AMRI Counseling Services (AMRI) is a Licensed and Certified Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Clinic providing an array of services including mental health and substance abuse assessment, counseling and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families of Milwaukee WI, Kenosha, WI and all surrounding areas since 2006. We have now expanded our services and added a 3rd location in Miami, Florida.

AMRI Counseling Services provides a combination of clinically; evidence-based counseling services, a comprehensive connection, as well as a realistic and personalized positive strategy for change. AMRI is fully committed to providing clients and families with quality care. AMRI provides a nurturing, safe and therapeutic atmosphere to explore, clarify, and focus on issues of importance specifically to the client.

Clinicians assist clients and families in areas of mental health, substance abuse, medication management, family support services and community resources. The culturally diverse and multidisciplinary trained staff at AMRI is dedicated to treating all clients with respect and professionalism. Our treatment team includes passionate staff and treatment/prevention providers, mental health professionals, substance abuse providers, clinical supervisors, visitation specialists, family support specialists, and more.

AMRI Counseling Services is Certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB).

What We Do

AMRI Counseling Services,LLC works collaboratly with clients primary care provider and other providers, when appropriate. The philosophy of treatment recognizes the totality of the individual in his or her life situation. This includes the interconnection of multiple dimensions from biomedical to spiritual, as well as external relationships of the individual to the family and larger social groups.

Programs Offered

 

Mental Health Assessments and Counseling

This service is offered Sunday through Saturday with daytime, evenings and weekends appointments available . This program focuses on the clients mental health issues, overall mental wellness and any concerns they that are impacting their life. Each client needs are very different.  Services are individualized and tailored to meet the clients therapeutic needs.

 

Substance Abuse / Alcohol Drug Assessments and Counseling

This service is offered Sunday through Saturday with daytime, evenings and weekend  appointments available . This program focuses on the clients alcohol or drug related issues or concerns. This substance abuse program requires all clients to do weekly, random alcohol and drug testing.

 

Drug and Alcohol Testing

This service is offered Monday through Friday with daytime and weekend times available . This program focuses on monitoring alcohol or drug use.

 

Medication Stabilization Services

This service is offered Monday through Friday with daytime appointments available. This program focuses on the clients needs for medication to stabilize thoughts, feeling or behaviors. Contact our partners or your insurance company for a referral.

Correctional/Offender Treatment

This service is offered Sunday through Saturday with daytime, evenings and weekends appointments available . This program focuses on the clients mental health issues, overall mental wellness and any concerns they have that are impacting their life or the lives of others due to choices they made. The goal for this treatment is to help clients change their thoughts and actions, reengage back into the community in a positive and mentally healthy way. Each clients needs are very different.  Services are individualized and tailored to meet the clients needs.

 

Driver Safety Programming

This service is a program offered Sunday through Saturday with daytime, evenings and weekends appointments available . This program focuses on the clients alcohol or drug related concerns with a focus on ways to ensure safety of themselves and others while driving a motor vehicle. This service requires clients to do weekly, random alcohol and drug testing.

 

Delivery Pharmacy Services

This service is offered to all clients. Our delivery pharmacy services allow clients to have their prescriptions delivered to their home or place of choice. The prescriptions can be medical or psychotropic medications. The client do not have to receive others services offered at AMRI to participate our delivery pharmacy program.

 

Social Services

This service is offered Sunday through Saturday with daytime, evenings and weekends appointments available . This program focuses on the clients immediate needs from our case management team.

 

Court Ordered Treatment

This service is offered Sunday through Saturday with daytime, evenings and weekends appointments available . This program focuses on the clients mental health, alcohol and/or drug court ordered issues. Court ordered programming are 12 week programs. Client receives a certificate of completion once program requirements are met successfully.

 

Family Supportive Services

Family Supportive Services focuses on clients immediate needs such as Case Management, Food Resources, Parenting Assistance, Housing Assistance, Independent Living Skills, Educational/ Academic and Employment Assistance. This service is offered Monday through Friday with daytime, evenings and weekends  available . This program focuses on the clients. Services are tailored to meet the client’s individual needs.

 

Services Offered to Professionals and Businesses

Non-Clinical Employment opportunities

Clinic offers employment opportunities as non clinical support staff. Non-Clinical opportunities are receptionists, office assistants, auditors, administrative staff, billing, collections and clerical staff.

 

Clinical Employment Opportunities for Independently Licensed and In-Training Clinicians

Clinic offers employment and contract opportunities to Independently Licensed and In-Training Clinicians in the field of psychology, marriage and family, mental health, social work and human services.

 

Practicum and Internship Placements

Clinic offers Practicum and internship opportunities to students in the field of psychology, marriage and family, mental health, social work and human services.

 

Clinical Supervision , Training and Consultation

Clinical Supervision , Training and Consultation is offered to Students, Independently Licensed and In-Training Clinicians in the field of psychology, marriage and family, mental health, social work and human services. These individuals are provided weekly individual and group supervision, ongoing trainings and consultation.

 

Business Counseling for Professionals

This service provides counseling to businesses, staff of these businesses and professionals throughout various business capacities.

 

Mental Wellness programming for small, midsize and large corporations

This service is designed to work with small, midsize & large businesses and corporations to create mental wellness programs to ensure mental wellness is top priority for their staff. The expectation is not to not only create the mental wellness program but to implement actionable steps that can me executed and become part to the business normal daily operation and business plan.

This intervention is provided by independently licensed psychotherapist, licensed mental health counselors, counselors in training and licensed, independent social workers. The format of these services is individual, couple, family, and/or group sessions. All age groups are treated. Treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual and is guided by an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment of the individual and his/her family, if appropriate.

Substance Abuse and Addiction treatment services provide professionally-directed evaluation, treatment, and recovery services to persons with substance related disorders. Interventions are provided by practitioners who are licensed substance abuse counselors or in training substance abuse counselors. These services are provided through individual, family and group modalities. Groups consist of a twelve -week program that meets 2 hours per week. Services are designed to treat the individual’s level of illness severity and to achieve significant changes in an individual’s addictive behavior. Treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual and guided by an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment of the individual and his/her family, if appropriate.

Alcohol and Drug Testing is provided and required as a part of substance abuse treatment services at AMRI Counseling Services.

AMRI Telehealth Services includes Mental Health or Substance Use Evaluation and Counseling, Family Support Services, Medication Evaluation and Medication Stabilization Services. These service are offered by AMRI Counseling Services Staff in-office, via telephone/audio,  video and is provided by a Doctor, Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, Therapist or other level clinical provider. Our Telehealth Services functionality is equivalent to face-to-face contact. Specially for Medication Services, We recommend contacting our partners listed below or your insurance company for a referral.

Our Staff

The composition of staff includes Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, Substance Abuse Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Family Support Specialists, Peer Support Specialists, Administrative and Office Staff, Supervisors, Clinical Supervisors,  as well as other levels of Clinical Providers and Non-Clinical Providers.
